Our nursery care is delivered from beautiful premises, with the most devoted team, and is the reason why Little Birches Nursery and Preschool in Lavendon is special.
Based in the village of Lavendon, Buckinghamshire, this popular nursery offers full day-care and sessional care for children.
We provide care to the surrounding towns and villages of Olney, Turvey, Harrold, Bozeat, Olney, Yardley Hastings, Wellingborough, Wolleston and Carlton.
At Little Birches Nursery, we strongly believe that the formative years of a child’s life have such a profound impact in shaping who they become as a person. OUR SESSIONS
Little Birches in Lavendon (nursery and pre-school) is open 52 weeks of the year and offers a variety of sessions, including full-day care, morning and afternoon sessions.
Full day: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Morning session: 7.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon session: 12.30pm – 6.00pm
Our opening hours are 7.30am until 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, and we’re open every day apart from bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
Little Birches provides childcare for little ones aged from 3 months to 60 months. All children are provided with highly nutritious, varied and delicious meals throughout the day.
We make sure that we strictly adhere to Ofsted’s key development areas.
OUR REVIEWS
My little one had been with this nursery since April 2024 and the nursery have been so supportive and brilliant with him. It took him a little while to settle but the patience and care of the staff in looking after him so well meant he loves to go there. He eats well (the chef does an amazing job coming up with creative meals that he seems to devour), sleeps well and plays well! And when I pick him up he’s the happiest little man and starting to make friends and a real bond with all the staff there, even those in different rooms. Speaking of the staff, all of them know what’s going on with all children. When he’s been sick, I’m asked by everyone how he is. When we’ve been in holiday they all remember. The facilities are great, the garden is perfect for little ones and the toys and activities planned are creative and always changing. You can’t teach staff to care, but these people just do. It’s a lovely environment and as a new mum, I know he’s in great hands, well looked after and having an amazing time.

Genuinely feel so lucky to have such an incredible nursery on our doorstep. The team are amazing, fostering the perfect environment for our son to learn through play. They have brilliant themed days to celebrate lots of occasions and we love seeing the updates and pics of our boy via the Tapestry app. The garden is a lovely space and I know the kids spend lots of time out there. They've made tonnes of changes in the 6 months our child has been there and it's just keeps getting better and better!

At Little Birches in Lavendon, we are fortunate to have Sita as our Nursery Manager. With over 6 years of experience in the childcare industry, Sita has excelled in providing guidance and support to both team members and the children. Her expertise and dedication are critical in leading the team to provide the highest level of care.
Sita holds a BA degree in Education and a Level-3 Early Years qualification, which is really valuable as it enables that deep understanding of early childhood development and education that is required to lead the team. As a Nursery Manager, Sita utilises her knowledge and experience to create an enriching and nurturing environment that caters to the unique needs of each child.
Sita is passionate about fostering a positive learning environment, and she takes a personalised approach to understand and appreciate the distinct personalities of the children in our care. By recognising and valuing their individuality, she ensures that every child receives tailored support and encouragement. With Sita as our Nursery Manager, we are very confident that she will create a special nursery for the community.
